OUT AND ABOUT: Sandra Oh, with a mystery date, sitting in the orchestra section of the L.A. Opera's production of Rigoletto. During intermission, the Grey's Anatomy star stayed put in her seat, eschewing the free champagne and mushroom-stuffed crab cakes that awaited VIP guests on the outdoor patio. Said the spy: "She stayed put during intermission, just talking to the guy she was with. It looked like a serious conversation."

Sandra Oh Does Not Have A Tweety Bird

(Nor six toes.) Linda Massarella - a Canadian gossip columnist based in LA - appears to have an inside track on Sandra Oh as she's back with some more gossip. Last time she talked about Sandra Oh and newbie James Tupper bonding on the set of Grey's. Don't know how credible she is, so take it for what it is:

A lot of Canadian star victims of bogus Twitter accounts have made statements about it.

But the feistiest denouncement came from Nepean, Ont., actress Sandra Oh, who took matters into her own thumbs when an imposter came online pretending to be the Grey's Anatomy star.

Oh posted this personal message to the fake account:

"I would appreciate for whomever opened this account under my name to close it ASAP."

Canadian Bonding On The Set Of Grey's

Some gossip from the set of Grey's Anatomy, published today in the Canadian newspaper The Observer, where there's a Sandra mention:

LOS ANGELES — Call him Dr. McSwoon or Dr. McHeartthrob — but just keep calling him.

Good news for not-seene-nough McCanadian hunk

James Tupper and his fans: It seems Tupper may be poised to become the newest hunk on the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, according to an ABC source.

Originally asked to guest star just one time as a trauma counsellor in the first episode of the upcoming season, Tupper heated up the camera so much that he was asked to stay on for the second episode ... And the third.

“The camera is just eating him up and producers are very aware of his hunk factor,” the source said. “We’re hoping this might be just the beginning for James on Grey.”

And what lucky gal would get him? Might it be the series’ second leading lady and fellow Canadian Sandra Oh? Let’s not forget, her relationship with trauma doc Kevin Kidd (who plays Owen Hunt) has been a little dodgy since his old girlfriend came back to town.

Although I’m not privy to anything in the script, I have been told that Tupper — married to actress Anne Heche, whom he met while filming Men in Trees in Vancouver — and Oh do hang out during breaks.

“They’re comfortable together, they do pal around. Maybe it’s the Canadian thing,” joked the source.

“Rehearsing lines that have ‘about’ and trying to sound American?”

Sandra Oh And Ellen Pompeo Are The Goree Girls

Maybe.

For a while now this has only been a rumour on Wikipedia, but now the info has been updated on IMDB.

According to IMDB, Sandra Oh and her Grey's Anatomy co-star Ellen Pompeo have both been cast in a musical called The Goree Girls which also stars Jennifer Aniston. The Goree Girls is based on a true story of an all-female country band in a Texas prison in the 1940s. Sandra Oh is rumoured to be playing Vicki Cristine Rose, and Ellen Pompeo a character called Farrah.

Don't get too excited as there is still no official confirmation and this could change at any time, so take it for what it is peeps.

At The Borough Market In London

We've lost the count by now, but here is another Sandra (and Kevin McKidd) sighting in London from earlier today:

And then.. while lining up for some sausage thing (you see, everything good has a long queue at Borough Market), KY spotted Owen (Kevin McKidd) from Grey’s Anatomy. I wasn’t very convinced. Hard to tell. Grace was skeptical. But then we finally realised it was him when him and Sandra Oh (Christina Yang on Grey’s) walked past us… WHOA! Made KY go up to them to ask.. but then they refused a photo. It is alright. We totally understand. Don’t wanna feel like a paparazzi simply snapping people’s photos away without permission.
