The nominees for the 44th NAACP Image Awards were announced today and Sandra Oh has been nominated (once again) for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for her badass acting skills as Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy. Sandra has been nominated three times before for her role on Grey's.

The 2012 NAACP Image Awards nominations were announced today and Sandra Oh is one of the nominees in the category for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series, along with her Grey's Anatomy co-star Chandra Wilson.

This is Sandra's third nomination for her portrayal of Cristina Yang on Grey's and maybe the third time's a charm...

Sandra Oh Honoured At Canada's Walk Of Fame Awards - Video

Sandra Oh was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame earlier this month and Sandra attended the awards ceremony which was broadcast earlier this evening, where she was presented with her award. Thanks to our awesome reader Lauren (aka COGreysLover) we have this video from the broadcast where Sandra gives her acceptance speech.

Sandra was also honoured by her current Grey's Anatomy co-stars Ellen Pompeo and Kevin McKidd, Grey's boss Shonda Rhimes, as well as her co-workers from her previous projects, including actor/director/friend Don McKellar. Sandra Oh To Attend Canada's Walk Of Fame Awards

Last week it was announced that Sandra Oh is one of this year's inductees to Canada's Walk Of Fame, and today the organization confirmed that Sandra Oh will attend the celebrations where she will receive her sidewalk star and get her tribute at the awards ceremony on Saturday, October 1 at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto.

Sandra Oh Joins Canada's Walk Of Fame

Canada’s Walk of Fame announced today that Sandra Oh will be one of this year's inductees.

Each inductee will receive their tribute on Saturday, October 1 in a ceremony at Toronto’s Elgin Theatre. Their names will be cemented into the sidewalks of Toronto’s Entertainment District.

The Canada’s Walk of Fame televised Awards will be broadcast nationally in October on Global and Slice™.

About this year's inductees, which also include actor Ryan Reynolds, musician Burton Cummings, comedian/actor Russell Peters, tennis player Daniel Nestor, astronaut Dr. Roberta Bondar and late author Mordecai Richler:

The class of 2011 includes seven new inspiring and celebrated Canadians who have excelled in their fields and are a part of Canada’s legacy.

Joining the 131 existing inductees, the 2011 honourees will be added to Canada’s Walk of Fame, which annually recognizes individuals for their achievements in various fields, including music, sport, film and television, science and innovation, in addition to the arts: literary, visual and performing.

Commemorating the 2011 inductees, the Canada’s Walk of Fame Awards will feature special guest performances and celebrity presenters.

It was announced today that Sandra Oh will be one of the presenters at the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards which will be held on Saturday.

Sandra Oh Nominated For The PRISM Awards

The PRISM Awards is an award that honors actors, movies, music, media and television’s top shows that accurately depict and bring attention to substance abuse and mental health issues, including prevention, treatment and recovery.

The nominees for this year's PRISM Awards were announced a few days ago and Sandra Oh has been nominated in the category for Best Female Performance in a Drama Series Multi-Episode Storyline with these ladies: Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Monica Potter (Parenthood), Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) and KaDee Strickland (Private Practice).

Also nominated is Sandra's co-star Kevin McKidd for Best Performance In A Drama Series - who incidentally thanked Sandra Oh in his speech when he won last year - as well as Grey's Anatomy episodes With You I’m Born Again/Shock to the System/Superfreak in the category for Outstanding Drama Series Multi-Episode Storyline – Mental Health.

In short, it was fantastic.

The movie so fluently moved from humor to grief and back again. All while feeling so natural.

This goes without saying, but Nicole Kidman was outstanding. Sandra Oh, though in a small role, was also excellent. But Aaron Eckhart was the real surprise here, matching Kidman in each of their scenes together.

Sandra Oh's upcoming movie Rabbit Hole premieres on December 17th with a wide release on January 14th, and has been getting a lot of Oscar buzz and great reviews. The distributor Lionsgate is now putting out For Your Consideration-ads for the awards season and they have a special website dedicated for that where we found this:

Sandra Oh At The Voice Awards

The SAMHSA Voice Awards honor movie, television, and other media depictions of behavioral health issues and the award ceremony was held on Oct. 13 in LA. Grey’s Anatomy won an award for episodes Good Mourning and Goodbye for addressing the effect of post-traumatic stress disorder on military families. As one of the actors involved in that storyline, Sandra Oh was there to accept the award.
