Tonight is Oscars night and back in 2005 the movie
Sideways, which introduced Sandra Oh to a wider audience, won an Academy Award for
Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay) and picked up a nomination for
Best Motion Picture of the Year. It ended up losing out to Clint Eastwood's
Million Dollar Baby.
A few years ago
The Simpsons did a homage to the movie, including the famous scene where Sandra Oh as Stephanie beats the crap out of Thomas Hayden Church's character with a motorcycle helmet. Check it out in the video below:
