Meredith always bugs me.

I'm sorry, but Meredith is an awful friend to Cristina. And annoying.

I don´t think Meredith is an awful friend to Cristina. Remember when she cut her out of her wedding dress and went with her on her "honeymoon" to Hawaii? or when Cristina, earlier this season, was lying under a table in the OR, unable to move, and Meredith managed to get her out of there? What I personally think in this instance is that she is being irrational and unreasonable. But this can happen sometimes even to the best of friends!

@Emmma Yes, those were the moments when Mer was a good friend, no doubt about it. But I also remember that she stopped talking to Cristina when Cristina quit her job, didn't make any attempt to make up with her, till the moment she found out that Cristina came back to work. She kept bitching everyone around her, who was trying to give some space to Cris and make sure that she was OK - Derek, Owen. A true friend doesn't do that.
She was a true great friend to Cristina, but lately she isn't anymore.

It's always about Meredith in that friendship, always has been, and this is just another instance. I don't think Meredith is there for Cristina unless it's on her terms and unless Derek isn't in the picture for a bit. It's unpopular in the Grey's fandom, but to me that friendship has always been very one sided.

I'm sorry, but what about Meredith letting Cristina, who was so scared she couldn't spend the night at home alone, sleep in her bed WITH DEREK ON THE OTHER SIDE?! I mean Cristina knows she can always find a safe place at her friend's. Don't forget, when Cristina was so lost and scared she told Meredith that, in a way, it was her fault. That was also irrational and unreasonable, but understandable, like Meredith's reaction now.

Yeah, Meredith doesn't get a medal for being there for her friend. That is what a friend, a best friend, is supposed to do. And Mere will be there for Cristina on HER terms. She will let her come into bed even when Derek's there, she'll be there when her fiance leaves her, she'll come to her when Cristina is upset...but again, she doesn't get a medal for that. Meredith never listens to Cristina, it's always about her own problems, she has no regard for Cristina's relationships, she has never been the one to apologize for ANY of their fights in the show. Cristina has always been the one that comes to her and says sorry first or breaks the ice first. Cristina has had her share of being irrational and unreasonable with Meredith, but she's not outright dismissive like Meredith is with Cristina. Her problems are never as important, her relationship certainly can't compare to her and Derek, she doesn't pick up on when Cristina is upset about something, she pulled the 'post it' last season after insinuating everything about Owen and Teddy and then has the nerve to tell her she has a room in their new house, like Cristina will always be alone...Yes, Cristina feels safe with Meredith and that's a good thing. But it's a one sided friendship in a lot of ways and after seven seasons, it's very tiresome. Why can't Cristina be a godmother to more than one child? Because it's not the golden child of Meredith and Derek? Sorry, Meredith was a brat in this scene and it's not the first time.

I'm not a big fan of MerDer but, in this instance I think Meredith is venting her frustration of her lack of success in this area. She's being a brat here.
I hope Christina tells Callie that she will be the Godmother. Maybe it will show her she could be a good mother herself.
Meredith needs to grow up.

And this last episode proved just how immature Meredith is and what a horrible friend she is. Sorry, but Meredith didn't have the right to take that away from Callie and Cristina's friendship. What an awful person.
