E! Online caught up with Shonda Rhimes, and it sounds like the Executive Producer was in a chatty mood! Thank goodness. She revealed all sorts of information about the upcoming season. Nothing too fascinating - this is Shonda we’re talking about, hater of all things spoilerish – but enough to keep us going for another day or two.
According to Rhimes, the focus of season five will be on our favorite ex-interns (George, Izzie, Cristina, Alex, and Meredith).
What on Kevin McKidd? According to Shonda, he’ll be playing Owen Hunt, “a military doctor that comes to the hospital on leave.” And it sounds like cupid’s arrow will be striking Cristina while she’s looking over at the new doc in town. As Shonda put it, “I think Cristina might find him fairly interesting.”
