The Trial Of The Catonsville Nine - Rehersals

Sandra Oh with actor Tim Robbins

It was a case of 'It'll be all right on the night' for Grey's Anatomy actress Sandra Oh and Crash director Paul Haggis when they were given just one day to prepare for an all-star charity reading of The Trial Of The Catonsville Nine.

The pair took to the stage at California's Kirk Douglas Theatre alongside Tim Robbins, Martin Sheen, Beau Bridges and Ghost Whisperer actress Camryn Manheim, to perform at the sell-out show. Proceeds from the $250 tickets - which included a post-performance reception with the cast - went to peace group the Office of the Americas and the LA Theatre Group.

The moving play went off without a hitch, according to Tim who enjoyed the spontaneity of it all. "I'm a pretty good cold reader," says the talented thesp who won the Oscar for his supporting role in Mystic River.
