Murderer Martin Palmer is apprehended after an attempt on Charlie's life, and demands protection after confessing to his crimes. When Palmer refuses to name his accomplice, Thorne adopts the high-risk strategy of freeing him in a bid to flush out the other killer, and time is of the essence when another body is found.
