Thorne: Mobile App Released

The Thorne-series will premiere this Sunday and it's been getting great reviews in the British press so far. Even though Sandra Oh's episodes will not air until towards the end of the month (Oct. 31), you still may want to check out the entire series. Now an app for the series has also been released which look interesting. More details below:

The iPhone app coincides with the Sky1 HD release of the brand new drama series, Thorne.

The app contains details of Mark Billingham's entire Tom Thorne series, sample chapters from Sleepyhead, Scaredycat and an unseen sneak preview from his new novel coming in 2011. It also features character profiles, playlists for Tom Thorne and Mark Billingham, an interactive map of Thorne's London, videos of Mark (including his cameo in the Sleepyhead) plus trailers, stills and interviews from the TV series.

We haven't tried it, but the app is free and you can download it from iTunes. An app for Android handsets will be released soon.
