Sandra Oh will be on stage at the Crystal Awards on Monday, December 2, taking an international achievement award from Women in Film and Television-Toronto. The industry group's annual awards luncheon will cheer the Ottawa-born star for her work on the big and small screen, which includes the movies Sideways and Double Happiness, and the hit ABC series Grey's Anatomy.
Grey's airs here on CTV, which is sending president Susanne Boyce to present the prize. In a statement, Boyce praised the 36-year-old star's "unstoppable" career momentum.
WIFT-T will on Monday give its award of distinction to Claire Prieto of C+C Films, and its creative excellence award to Ilana Frank (Would Be Kings, The Eleventh Hour) of Thump Inc. Indie producer Tecca Crosby will take the mentorship award, while outstanding achievement prizes will go to both Judy Gladstone of Bravo!FACT and Toni Myers of IMAX.
