I'm for once very glad that SR doesn't make Cristina regret her decision. A woman having an abortion and regretting it later on - well, talk about stereotypes. I also hope that Cristina doesn't make any compromises regarding the kids issues (be it biological/adopted/fostered or a child from Owen's ONS). If Owen so badly wants to be a dad, CO should part ways. That said - with the way Cristina is potrayed lately, I'm fearful about the things to come. I can only hope that SR doesn't kill the essence of Cristina Yang.

JMHO Shonda has used Cristina and Owen's storylines for airing her political views. It is clear that Meredith and Derek are her golden couple (insert sarcasm). I really am not interested in her political views if I were I'd watch scandal! Enough Already!
PREACH IT!

No money would make me watch Scandal.
If Cristina changes her mind then that "becomes the essence of Cristina Yang." Not likely to happen but if it does are you willing to accept that this is the way Shonda wrote her? Shouldn't be the end of the world for you since Grey's is FICTION and not real, right?
If SR does that it'll be her admission to the world how horrible she is as a writer. That would be writing with no credibility or coherence. For nearly nine seasons she wrote her fiercely anti-kids in her life. He put all the other characters who know her, understand that or vocalize it, for now in the last two minutes to make her give a radical turn? What a growth!
That wouldn't be a writer's choice, that would be an outrage shame and humiliation for an awarded writer.
Disagree. Shonda can write what she chooses to write. These are HER characters not yours. If someone does not like it they can choose not to watch the show.
I'm not arguing if Shonda can or cannot do it. Obviously she can do what pleases her, it's her story. But there's something called writing ethics. If she can't writing the growing path of the character without compromising it or bother to be coherent over the seasons, can't be called a good writer.
Shonda won´t write her like that. She would go against herself. She would never do that. Admitting she might have made a mistake? Shonda ? NEVER.
I'm sad that they aren't gonna adopt the kid! I first thought that Cristina would bond with the kid because of similar experiences.. well girl can only dream

Why don't we just wait to see how this plays out? We all know that the sides are not reliable, Shonda said as much!
Being a huge crowen fan myself, patience doesn't come easy!
Says you? Where have you read that?
Sorry, what I meant was: Say who? and not says you? I was sleeping!
i hope Owen gets his kid. That way he's happy, and there's no pressure for Cristina to be a mother unless she chooses to.

No pressure to Cristina to be a mother? Really? Keep dreaming.
The day this or other kid enters Cristina's life, they're finished as a couple.
It'll be him and the kid as 'the family' and her in the periphery and in his spare time. How much can a couple build together in these conditions?!!! Unless SR lied again and she's planning to make Cris accept a kid in her life after have aborted her own!

I will not bet because Shonda considers its own logic unbeatable.
Once Owen bonds with the boy, Cristina has no chance.
Why show Cristina's growth if your not going to incorporate it in the storyline somewhere. Both Owen and Cristina had there share of trauma , they both can help the boy. Remember Cristina lost her dad when she was the same age as Ethan.__I don't believe for a moment that Cristina hasn't and doesn't regret having an abortion. And Cristina is not all about surgery anymore, she's found the balance that was lacking!
I love the fact that Owen is her person now not Meredith!
You can´t imagine, I would be the happiest Cristina fan if one day she broke down because of the abortion. Never gonna happen.
I think her supposed growth has nothing to do with her suddenly wanting to be a mother. She will NEVER regret the abortion. JMHO
This is a storyline for Owen, not CO or Cristina. That is the reason Shonda said struggle is coming up for them, and they will struggle to find ways to remain in love.
Cristina still wants Owen. If Owen ends up fostering or adopting the boy, Cristina will have to be his mother -- if she wants to be with Owen.
I think there will be a turning point for them - in the finale maybe. Cristina will choose herself and surgery and Owen will choose the boy and fatherhood. JMHO
Shonda is already starting to try and fix Cristina & Owen. After all, she had C call O "sweetheart" as he drove away in his truck last episode. *Insert sarcasm here* Personally, I didn't hear it. But I read other comments about it online elsewhere.
Too little, too late. What a mess!!
I´m very careful with Shonda´s words. I have learned my lesson. She said they were going to find their way back to each other. It has already happened. They are sort of together. However, there is no certainty they will remain together.
I hope he will adopt him or become his foster parent. I only hope Shonda after letting them bond deeply, will take away the boy from him. I personally don´t want Cristina to have nothing to do with this boy. You don´t abort your own children and then parent someone else´s. If she wants, she can do it with Zola who is her godchild.
I was not a fan of the pregnancy & abortion story line. It wasn't because I so desperately wanted C&O to have a child -- it was because I wanted to see a couple on TV choose NOT to have children & actually stick with their decision. I don't think that has ever been done, at least I've never seen it on any of the shows I've watched. The woman always "comes around" to wanting kids in the end.
You make a valid point, Vondie. While I'm all for adoption, it would be just so strange beyond words, to have Cristina suddenly okay with parenting someone else's child, but not hesitating in terminating her own.
Yes, strange beyond words. It would be against any ethics. Pro-choice, pro-life whichever viewpoint still there has to be ethics. If you don´t want children, stick to it!
will NOT take away the boy from him.
